This well cared for apartment is
situated in the historical centre of Amalfi, about
120 steps from street level. Just a few steps away
is the main piazza Duomo where you will find the magnificent
St. Andrews Cathedral (also visible from the windows),
and not far from there, the beach. This apartment
is part of an historic building which has recently
been refurbished with terracotta and majolica tiles.
Casa Caterina is tucked away from the hustle and
bustle of the town centre. The apartment is ideal
for living all year round or a relaxing holiday without
compromising on location.
You will enjoy being among the many laneways that
are characteristic of Amalfi and discovering the many
wonderful little boutiques which are stocked with
local produce found only in this region, such as Amalfi’s
famous hand made paper, colourful ceramics, and the
after dinner liqueur limoncello.
Casa Caterina consists of two bedrooms;
one master bedroom with a double bed, and the other
with two single beds. It has two bathrooms, both with
shower only. There is a kitchenette, with access to
a terrace complete with dining table and chairs. There
is the added convenience of an outdoor shower. The
lounge has a colour TV and sofa bed (price for extra
bed is € 80 per person, per week). From the master
bedroom, the lounge, and the terrace you can enjoy
a spectacular view of the Cathedral Dome in Amalfi,
and sea views.
Amalfi is served very well by public
transport, especailly boats, ferries and hydrofoils
which hope to and naples, positano and other towns
and islands along the coast. Buses and taxis are also
well provided.
Local Delights:
The sea, lemon trees, olive oil, wine and the beauty
and history of Amalfi.
